Witchcraft and Wizardry Textbook

I got the idea for making this story from another Qfeaster (it won't let me say usernames) . So, anyway, this is a textbook that you must study so you can get a good grade on my upcoming test! Again, this was another Qfeaster's idea; I just took the idea for a textbook and put my own stuff into it! Oh, and also, I'm making most of this all up!

Witchcraft and Wizardry Textbook
Chapter 3.

Test: Seeing if You're Meant to be a Wizard

Place four things out in front of you: a lit candle, a handheld fan, an unpolished rock, and a glass of water. Sit in a dark room, with the items on a table. If you prefer, have another person in there with you.
Close your eyes and think about the four elements. Pretend like you can feel the wind in your hair, the grass under your feet, the warmth of a fire thawing your hands, ocean spray splashing your chest. Feel a connection with the four elements. Once you've done that, open your eyes and concentrate on the lit candle. See what you can do with it. Can you control it with your mind? With your hands? Can you extinguish it with your thoughts? Move on to the water glass: Can you make the water ripple with your mind? Can you cause a drop to lift out of the cup with your hands? Move to the fan. Can you make a breeze blow on your face without touching the fan? Can you move the fan telepathically? Finally go to the rock. Can you make it move without using your hands? Can you make it separate? Call its rock friends?
Now it's time for the results. If you had an effect on any elements, then that's your power. For the ultimate test, go outside on a full moon with your element of choice. Concentrate on the element, feel its effects on you. If you do indeed have a power, then the element should give you an electric shock when you touch it again. If it doesn't, then don't worry - there are plenty of spells, potions, and magical things you can do without an element?
