The Cracked Doll

Entry Two; May 11th, 1820

I do not understand why. Me mum took Emma away! She said that Emma was bad for me. I do not see why! Me mum said that 'I should not be alone in my room, talking to a doll like she was real.' she does not get it! Emma is real, she talks to me. She listens and plays with me. Emma listens to all my problems. But me mum just had to take her away! She meant so much to me, she was always there for me!....I care so much for Emma, and now she sits alone in the dark lonely basement. I do not get it, Emma did nothing wrong. She just moved a tad bit when me mum was looking...so she was taken right in front of me. I just want....just want...just want to hurt her! Me sisters and brothers only laughed at me! I want to make them all pay! PAY!
