New Beginning

" Do I have to go" Mel said to said to her mom, Debbie. "It's filled with rude, rich kids." Mel said as she walked outside and her mom followed her. They were both waiting for a taxi, when Debbie said, "Mel, I know it's hard losing your dad and moving to a new school is rough, but you gotta give it a try." Mel's taxi pulled up and Debbie handed her 4 copper coins. As the taxi drove off Mel watched as her mom waved. " You new to this town?" the taxi driver asked " um, yeah" Mel answered.  Not another word was spoken until the taxi driver let Mel out at Wren Private School " Have a good day!" he said but Mel got out and shut the door. As Mel got closer she approached a man standing at the door. " Hi, you must be Melody?" Mel responded quickly " well its Mel actually" The man made a sour face and said " Apologizes, I'm Principal Sage! I'm going to show your locker, your classes, your uniforms, and your dorms." Mel's eyebrow went up in confusion " Not to be disrespectful but what the heck do you mean by dorms?"
Principal Sage walked Mel inside and lead her to the dorms. They walked inside and Principal Sage showed Mel her bed. "This is where you'll be sleeping for the next three months."
