Chapter 2.

The Begining

The days flew by, as we were readying to get out of school for the Summer. Everyone was talking and gossiping about what their plans were. And somewhere in that midst Brianna and her friends are probably gossiping about me, like how I fell off a roller coaster and hit my head so hard everyone thought I had died. I gazed around the crowded hallway, boys and girls talking to each other, their conversations echoing across the hall. I push in my earphones and begin to think about what I should do. I could slap Brianna, jump off a roller coaster, or actually become invisible. I'm almost there. The the thought echoes in my mind, stirring up my other thoughts. Suddenly Brianna and her minions walked up to me.
“Hi worthless,” she said shoving me. I fell onto the floor against the lockers, my books going everywhere. Brianna and her friends walked off laughing. Great, now I might be late for class. I tried to reach for my books, put people didn't see me or my books. They were stepping on them and on me. “Ouch!” I shouted as someone stepped on my fingers. I shot up and shoved through the crowd to get my Latin book. Once it was in view, I dived for it barely missing someone's swinging book bag. Whew. As I walked into the Latin class I began to catch my breath. I took the seat in the back of the classroom. As soon as the bell rang, the teacher began to pass out papers. She passed me by like she did every time, never giving me a paper. Once she was done passing out papers, I walked towards her.
“Mrs. Lewis?” I asked timidly. She didn't look up from her papers. “Mrs. Lewis?” I asked a little louder.
“MRS. LEWIS!” I yelled in her ear. Then the second bell rung and Mrs. Lewis looked up.
“Everyone in your seat!” She yelled. It was like she just saw through me, the students were all laughing.
“Quiet Down!” Mrs. Lewis exclaims.
I snatched the ‘extra’ Latin sheet off her desk and ran to the back of the room to take my seat. There was a sticky note in my chair. It read:

Dear Invisible,
Do you notice that if you disappeared tomorrow, not even your parents would know. Silly girl, they never really loved you.
-BRIANNA

What if I did disappear…….
The bell rang.
“Ok everyone,” Mrs. Lewis shouted over the noise of everyone getting up to go, “remember to do your homework.” I begin to walk out the classroom and Tessa somehow gets behind me and kicks my shin.
“Gah!” I exclaim and every student in the hall turns to lookat me. I look them in the eyes. “If you may excuse me, someone just kicked me. It is not a sin to exclaim.” I state heading towards the bathroom.
