Diary of an 8th Grader

So I Told Him . . .

Hey so um stuff happened today. In gym we were playing basketball. I wasn't really smiling cause I didn't feel in that kind of mood. Enrique came up to me and said, "Hey where's that bueatiful smile of yours. Come on, smile." I looked at him and grinned to satisfy him. 
Later on, we were versing Ethan's team. It was near the end of the game and I stood open. I quickly stratched my head. Suddenly Jake B. threw the ball to me. I wasn't ready and it hit my head. I covered my head and quickly walked to the bleachers. Ethan ran after me. "Ariana! Are you okay?!" I laughed and said, "Yeah I'm okay." "Do you want to go to the nurse?" Ethan asked me. "I nodded my head and Ethan put his hand on my back and walked me to the door. "I'm taking Ariana to the nurse's office!" Ethan announced over and over again. 
During passing time, Ethan and I were at our lockers. "Hey Ethan  I need to tell you something," I spoke up. He looked at me and then at his locker again, "Sure what is it?" "Um well I don't actually know when to tell you this . . . . . but um . . . . ." I motioned him to come closer to me so I could whisper in his ear. "I like you." I went back to getting my things for Science. Ethan looked blankly at his locker, no emotion on his face. "Yo-you don't have to say anything . . . i-it's fine . . ." My voice cracked. I slammed my locker closed and passed by him, "bye." I said and went to Science. Argh! I kind of regret saying anything. I have no idea if today was the right day to say anything. I wonder how's tomorrow's going to be like. What if Ethan does like me but he was confused about what to say, or he just really doesn't have feelings for me and I've just been assuming things . Well it wouldn't make any sense! I never saw him flirt with anyone else and why would he flirt with me if he doesn't like me!?! I mean really .
