Normal day...just levitating things and annoying Percy as usual...
It was a normal day.Well, as normal as things can get at Camp Half Blood.
I’m lying on my stomach on top of the sun-warmed roof of the Poseidon cabin, peering over the eave. (Yeah, literally ‘eavesdropping’). I’m watching Annabeth and Percy who are leaning against the side of the cabin and making out, which is not something I usually like to watch in my free time, except that’s the sacrifice I have to make to carry out my prank. I’m doing my best stealthy ninja imitation as I silently, not daring to breathe, levitate ABC gum into Percy’s hair. I concentrate hard, mooshing in into his scalp as much as possible. Chiron wanted me to ‘exercise my unique ability’, and I always try to please the guy (uh, horse) (uh, guy) (I give up). Look Chiron! I’m practicing! And I've almost finished with my twentieth piece of gum.
But that was when I got busted.
By a scream. A scream I knew well.
