Does he like me? (8)

So I started to talk with my crush today at school but he keeps smiling at me. The last few times I've seen him he smiles at me, my friends say he likes me but I'm not sure. He looks at me and doesn't stop for at least 1 minute or so. Today at gym we kept talking and we were standing next to each other(we were playing volley ball) and he kept smiling. But every time he looked at me he would stare in my eyes. Today he kept talking to me and not much other people and I want to know if he likes me or not. I really like him but I'm scared to know if he does like me or if he doesn't.
