What is it like to have these religions?

Respectful, please! Anyway, I'm an atheist and I was wondering about the beliefs and customs of some religions, such as Judaism, Catholicism, Buddhism, or Jainism. I would like to know firsthand. I already know about Christianity, sorry! Anyway, please don't try to convert anyone or convince people that your religion is the best/most ethical. I was just wanting to know what exactly people of these religions believe. Like, I know Judaism is about there being one God, but I want to know about the customs and traditions. And I know Buddhism is centered around the idea of peace, but what is it considered polite and impolite? Also, Jainism sounded cool when I read about it in a book. Anyway, I'm asking this question because I think I am going to write a story where my main character has one of these religions, and other characters have other religions. This would be really helpful! Also, please no swearing or talking about inappropriate things. If you do that, I will unfollow you (if I'm already following you) and block you.
